Free Event: GDPR and Children’s Data
Curious about the GDPR and Children’s Data? The GDPR applies to all data processing that is not purely personal. This includes children’s data too. In addition GDPR rights apply from birth and there are factors like the age of competence (when relying on consent as a lawful basis) to consider.
This makes the collection and processing of children’s data unusually complicated. However there are things you can do to make GDPR compliance much easier when it comes to children.
This event, focussing on GDPR and children’s data, will explore:
- some of the extra steps to comply with when processing children’s data
- how consent for data processing works when dealing with children
- navigating safeguarding issues and children’s data when dealing with children, parents and other parties
- how GDPR rights work for children
As with all events this webinar will be expert led, and there will be plenty of opportunities to as questions.
